Officer, At Large Director Positions Open on SOPGA Board of Directors

Dear Members,

As the Secretary of the Southern Ohio PGA, my responsibility is to oversee all matters relating to membership, including the election of our At-Large Directors. At this time, we will begin accepting nominations for the positions of Secretary and Vice-President as well as for two (2) At-Large Directors on the Southern Ohio PGA Board of Directors.

The Secretary and Vice-President term will run from the Fall Meeting in 2023 to the Fall Meeting in 2025. To be eligible to run for either officer role, a candidate must have served at least one (1) year in the past five on the Board of Directors. Two At-Large Directors will be elected to serve two-year terms on the Board. The term will run from the Fall Meeting in 2023 to the Fall Meeting in 2025. For more information on the roles and responsibilities, please click here.

If you would like to submit your name for consideration, please contact myself or Executive Director Patrick Salva (click here to email) to submit your name. The deadline to submit your nomination is Friday, September 15, 2023 at 5:00 PM.

Following your nomination, you will be asked to share more information about yourself which will then be shared with the Membership. The election will take place on Monday, October 23, 2023 during the Fall Meeting scheduled to be held at Pinnacle Golf Club in Columbus, OH.

Candidates will have three minutes to address the attendees during the meeting.
