Associate Tour

The Associate Tour is a series of tournaments & events conducted by the Southern Ohio PGA for professionals aspiring to become PGA Members. The Associate Tour aims to motivate, activate, and educate Associates working at facilities throughout the Southern Ohio Section, and to provide each of them with increased opportunities for professional and personal growth.

What is It?

The Associate Tour is a series of tournaments & events conducted by the Southern Ohio PGA for Professionals aspiring to become PGA Members.

Eligibility

Registered eligibly employed Associates in good standing who have paid their Player’s Fee.

Suspended Associates are not eligible to participate in Associate Tournaments.

NOTE 1: There is a Mandatory Associate Orientation program for anyone who wishes to compete in Associate Association Events. If you fail to attend one of the two mandatory Orientation programs during a calendar year, your associate association playing privileges will be suspended.

NOTE 2: Associates failing to complete the Associate Orientation requirement in a calendar year, but register to play in the Associate Tour Match Play Championship prior to the final Associate Orientation offering may continue in the Match Play Championship until their completion.

Format

8 events (Events 2-6 (Point events)+ Championship Stroke and Match Events (Double Point events)).

$80.00 per event (includes: course fees, carts, range).

Associates must compete in 3 of the 7 Associate Association Tour Events (Includes Associate Events 1-6 and Match Play) to be eligible for POY rankings & participation in the Stroke Play Championship.

Mandatory Orientation Program

All Associates & PGA PGM Suspended Associates must attend an Orientation in a calendar year to be eligible to participate in any Associate Tour Events. The Orientation is offered twice a year.
