Providing Opportunity. Removing Barriers. Growing the Game.
The PGA REACH Southern Ohio Foundation is proud to offer the Clubs Fore Kids program, an initiative designed to ensure young golfers have access to the equipment, instruction and support they need to succeed both on and off the course.
In an effort to get more young girls and boys opportunities in golf, this application is specifically for high school and middle school girls’ and boys’ golf coaches. Based on surveys sent to Boys and Girls High School Golf Coaches across Ohio, 50% of girls’ high school teams and 59% of boys’ teams report having at least one player sharing or borrowing equipment. Clubs Fore Kids exists to help close that gap.
Clubs Fore Kids provides eligible junior golf programs with essential resources to support player development and team success, including:
Brand-new sets of golf clubs for student-athletes (for use during the season and summer)
Golf balls, tees, and headcovers
Complimentary instruction from PGA Professionals
A practice manual featuring drills and tips from Southern Ohio PGA Professionals
Access to financial assistance for summer competitive opportunities
Each approved program may receive up to eight complete sets of clubs, helping ensure more players have the tools they need to fully participate and compete.
Applications must be submitted by a middle school or high school golf coach for a boys’ or girls’ program. Schools must be located within the Southern Ohio PGA jurisdiction, and separate applications are required for boys’ and girls’ teams.
Clubs Fore Kids is about more than equipment, it’s about opportunity. By removing financial and access barriers, the program helps student-athletes learn golf and experience the values the game teaches for a lifetime.
