Meet Team Southern Ohio!
The roster is set for the inaugural HOPE Cup, where we will take on Veterans from PGA HOPE Northern Ohio in a first-of-its-kind team competition.
On September 30, these Veterans will head to NorthStar Golf Club to represent PGA HOPE Southern Ohio and the Read moregame that has brought them together.
Leading them will be Captains: Brian Jones, PGA,Pam Rothermund, PGA, and Trent Kopala, PGA!

The Southern Ohio PGA had five qualifying spots available for the 2027 PGA Professional Championship at Streamsong Golf Resort.
Bob Sowards, Ben Kern and Jared Jones were already exempt into the tournament. Joining them will be Allie White, Joe Moore, Sam Arnold, Corey Weckerling and MikeRead more Thomas!
He is inevitable! Bob Sowards wins the 2026 Southern Ohio PGA Professional Championship for the 12th time!
Sowards shot the round of the day during the final round, a 3-under 69, to win by four shots over Ben Kern.
Pathways to PGA Membership
PGA Golf Management University Program
The PGA Golf Management University Program is offered at 18 universities nationwide. Each participating university has specific entrance requirements.
Test-out Option for Current and Former LPGA Members
Each applicant will be evaluated on the merits of her membership status with the LPGA to determine if she qualifies for and will be approved to work toward membership in the PGA of America.
