MORROW, Ohio (June 7, 2021) – Congratulations to Maketewah Country Club’s Dave Bahr, PGA & Mark Gaudet (a) on carding an eleven-under-par to win the Southwest Chapter Pro-1 Am at Bel-Wood Country Club. 

Bahr and Gaudet began the day with five pars and four birdies on their first nine holes. They got into a groove on the back nine with four birdies in a row. The team finished strong with an eagle on the 17th hole and one last birdie on the 18th hole. Their score of eleven-under-par put them at the top of the leaderboard, two strokes ahead of the next team. Sean Arthur, PGA from Hamilton Elks & Dave Mosley (a) carded a nine-under-par to finish in solo second.  

In addition to the team leaderboard, the amateurs and professionals had their own leaderboards to watch. Dave Bahr, PGA and Sean Arthur, PGA each carded 69, two-under-par,  to finish tied for first in both the Main Professional Division and the Senior Professional Division. Melissa Yeazell, PGA, from Tri County Golf Ranch carded a 70, one-under-par, to finish in solo second place in the Main Professional Division. PGA Professional Paul Rooney’s teammate, Jesse Terbrueggen claimed the Low Amateur award with an even-par 71.
