The Southern Ohio PGA is saddened to share that Hall of Famer and multiple Section award winner Tom Littlepage, PGA, passed away at the age of 86.
Littlepage died Friday morning at EverHeart Hospice Care Center in Greenville, Ohio. He was married to his wife Nancy for 57 years and a proud father of his two daughters, Tina Littlepage and Erin Monticue. He had five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Littlepage was elected to PGA Membership in 1959 and joined the Southern Ohio PGA Hall of Fame in 2020. He was President of the Section in 1983, a two-time recipient of the Bill Strausbaugh Award (1984, 1986) and a SOPGA Legacy Award Winner in 2018.
He began his career at Saginaw Country Club in Saginaw, Michigan before moving to the Southern Ohio section in 1970. He was a resourceful and talented PGA Professional capable of fulfilling a variety of roles and responsibilities. He was also a noted golf course developer and architect. He helped design and build Stillwater Valley Golf Course in Versailles, Ohio and is the architect of record for the second nine at the formerly-named Greenville Country Club, now called Turtle Creek Golf Course. He also built multiple driving ranges and practice facilities. He was the Head Professional at Greenville Country Club for over a decade.
His impact on Southern Ohio PGA Professionals spanned six decades. He also coached golf teams at all levels throughout his exceptional career.
