The Southern Ohio PGA was well represented on the final leaderboard at the 99th Open Open which concluded on Wednesday, July 1, 2020. Bob Sowards, PGA Director of Instruction at Kinsale Golf and Fitness Club and a three-time champion of the event, finished in a tie for second place after posting a 12-under-par 204. Caleb Wittig, an Assistant Professional from Zanesville Country Club, wrapped up a tie for 15th after finishing with a 2-under-par 214.
The event was won by Alex Weiss from Pickerington, OH. Weiss finished with a 13-under-par 203 to claim a one shot victory.
