FAIRBORN, Ohio – 16 PGA Professionals are set to represent the Southern Ohio PGA in defending their championship title at the 26th Ohio Cup this week in Northern Ohio.
The Southern Ohio PGA Ohio Cup team is made possible thanks to the continued support of longtime SOPGA Partner Saling Simms Associates.

Leading the 2022 SOPGA team is Captain Ken Corliss, PGA Teaching Professional at the Golf Club of Dublin. A prominent player himself, Corliss steps into the captaincy after assisting Captain Cory George, PGA in the team’s 2021 victory. Helping Captain Corliss on the course this week is Assistant (Playing) Captain Bob Sowards, PGA Director of Instruction at Kinsale Golf & Fitness Club. Steve Groves, PGA Life Member, will assist the team as a second Assistant Captain with Sowards competing in the event.
