MASON, OH – The Southern Ohio PGA is excited to announce a new partnership with Mason, OH, based craft brewer Sonder Brewing.
“Passion and Community are two of the core pillars that drive Sonder Brewing. We are excited about our partnership with PGA HOPE as an extension of those core pillars to individuals in our region,” states Justin Neff, Sonder Brewing President.
The partnership will feature PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) as a benefitting program from sales of Eagle Light Lager, the collaborative beer from Sonder and Ohio Eagle, a leading wholesale distributor of high quality domestic, imported, and craft beverages in Southwest Ohio.
“We’re beyond excited to partner with Sonder through their Eagle Light products,” noted Southern Ohio PGA Executive Director Patrick Salva. “Being able to partner with a growing craft brewery who wants to support their local community makes perfect sense. This is an opportunity for a growing Southern Ohio brand to support our growing Southern Ohio veteran program.”
A portion of sales of Eagle Light Lager will be donated to PGA REACH Southern Ohio in support of the PGA HOPE program. The partnership will take center stages as Sonder and Eagle Light become supporting partners of the Stars & Stripes Pro Am benefitting PGA HOPE to be held September 15, 2025 at NCR Country Club.

About PGA HOPE in Southern Ohio
PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) introduces and teaches golf to Veterans and Active Duty Military to enhance their physical, mental, social and emotional well-being. Led by PGA of America Golf Professionals, the program is inclusive of a developmental 6-8 week curriculum. All programs are provided at no cost to all participating Veterans.
The Southern Ohio PGA is home to eleven PGA HOPE Chapters located in Cincinnati, Dayton, and Columbus in 2025. Programs begin in early April and run through the end of the golf season with off-season programs at select indoor facilities providing an outlet for veterans.
PGA HOPE has a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), which enables direct referrals to the PGA HOPE program as a form of therapy.
