FAIRBORN, Ohio – The Southern Ohio PGA Section is proud to introduce the new and improved SouthernOhioJuniorGolf.com!
While junior golfers around Central and Southern Ohio have been working hard on their games this off season, we’ve been working to build a one-stop site with all the information on junior golf opportunities throughout our Section.
Guided by the SOPGA Player Pathway, based on the American Development Model, SouthernOhioJuniorGolf.com provides information on all programs available throughout the Southern Ohio PGA Section for junior golfers at every skill level. Beginning with an active start at a local First Tee Chapter and working on golf’s fundamentals at PGA Jr. League and the Drive, Chip and Putt qualifiers; to learning to play the game with instruction by a local PGA Professional and then playing to improve on the SOPGA Junior Series in Columbus and Cincinnati. As juniors advance in their golf careers, the new website also includes opportunities for them to play to compete locally on the SOPGA Players Tour, regionally on the GolfWeek Junior Tour or play to win in AJGA and USGA national events. the SOPGA Player Pathway’s goal is to grow the game of golf, one junior at a time, by developing lifelong golfers.
