Modern Coach a Focus of Southern Ohio PGA Fall Meeting

FAIRBORN, OH – The 2022 Southern Ohio PGA Fall Meeting presented by PING, is just over a month away!  Join us at NCR Country Club on Monday, October 24th to learn more about the Modern Coach and to enjoy a round of golf. The meeting will also include the election of four At-Large Directors to the Southern Ohio PGA Board of Directors.

Attendance
*Players playing in the Pro-Pro are required to attend the entire meeting.

Attend Meeting, Education & Lunch – $25.00 per member
Attend Meeting, Education, Lunch & Play Golf – $125.00 per member

Attire
Business attire (coat and tie) is required. The locker room at NCR Country Club will be available to use before the Pro-Pro Event.

Keynote Speaker

The 2022 Fall Meeting will feature Jared Butts from RGX (Revolutionizing Golf Instruction). Butts will touch on the Modern Coach; a methodology used by coaches across the country to more efficiently and effectively coach the game of golf. The concept is intended to help our members develop an understanding that value is based on the solution you provide your student.

In the course, becoming the PGA Modern Coach we explore:

• How to determine your value to golf consumers and your golf course.
• How to get golfers of all skill levels the results they desire.
• How to drive profitable revenue to your business and your golf facility.
• How to bring in more income and create a better life balance.
• How the future of golf instruction is moving to coaching and how this shift can help you grow your business.

Election
Two At-Large Directors will be elected to serve two-year terms on our Board of Directors while two more will be elected to serve one-year terms. These terms align with our recently updated Constitution and Bylaws. The two candidates with the most votes will earn the two-year terms and the two candidates with the next highest vote totals will earn the one-year terms.

Pro-Pro Shamble
End the season with us during a fun round of golf! We will host a two-person shamble following the meeting. Grab a partner and join the best-ball shamble fun where both players tee-off, choose the best tee shot and then play their individual ball from there.

Members playing in the Pro-Pro following are REQUIRED to attend the meeting.

PDR Credits
Members will earn one (1) PDR per hour attending the Fall Meeting. Four (4) credits are available for the meeting and education with two (2) credits available for playing in the golf tournament.
