WORTHINGTON, Ohio – It’s a good thing flagsticks have a little bend in them. They needed all the flexibility thanks to the outrageously windy conditions Monday at Worthington Hills Country Club for the 2025 E-Z-GO Pro-Pro Championship. The Golfweek Junior Tour pair of Alex Martin, PGA and Austin Schoonmaker, PGA, got it done despite the challenging winds, cruising in at -4 across the two rounds. Those winds helped create a 31-shot differential between first and last place.

The morning round saw competitors play in an 18-hole four ball competition. Scioto Country Club’s Jared Hoelzen and Taylor Holt of The Lakes Golf & Country Club held the lead after a red-hot -5 66. Things cooled off for that duo in the afternoon competition of modified alt-shot or scotch foursomes and that’s where Martin and Schoonmaker made their move. Going out in two-under thanks to birdies on two of their final three holes on the first nine, they managed to steer it into the clubhouse on the second nine to complete the victory.

The Maketewah duo of Dave Bahr and Chad Ammer finished T2 alongside teams of Chris Black/Mike Kaido and Andy Montgomery/Bob Sowards.

Brad Loomis and Lloyd Faulkner rounded out the top five, finishing at even par alongside Bob Stephens and Jon McDonald.
