Dayton, OHRyne Kitchen, PGA, will join the Southern Ohio PGA staff on February 18, 2025 to serve as the Operations Director. Kitchen, who was elected to membership in early 2024, will oversee the foundation programs under PGA REACH Southern Ohio as well as programs under the Southern Ohio PGA.

“I’m incredibly excited to have Ryne join our Southern Ohio PGA team,” noted SOPGA Executive Director Patrick Salva. “Ryne has the analytical background to own our day-to-day operation, the desire to lead our team and the perspective needed to serve our members.”

Kitchen previously held roles at Northstar Golf Club and The Medallion Club. While at Northstar, he launched a PGA Jr. League team which quickly grew to 50+ juniors. A graduate of Ohio State University, Kitchen worked in the engineering field before coming back to the golf industry.

In his role, Kitchen will oversee the three programmatic pillars of PGA REACH Southern Ohio: Military, Youth and Access. He will also oversee fundraising efforts at the Play Yellow Birdie Bash and Stars & Stripes Pro Am. Additionally, he will work with the Membership Committee to help guide member-facing events.

“We remain focused on growing a number of foundation programs and Ryne will play an integral role in doing so,” Salva noted. “We’re excited for the future with Ryne and the rest of our team moving us forward.”
