FAIRBORN, OH (February 7, 2022) – The 77th Southern Ohio PGA Senior Professional Championship is set to be played August 31 – September 1, 2022 at the beautiful Clovernook Country Club in Cincinnati, Ohio. 

Located in North College Hill, 10 miles from the city of Cincinnati, Clovernook Country Club has been meticulously maintained and largely unchanged since its inception in 1923. The 108-acre farm of Mary and George Schild was transformed into the 18-hole championship golf course it is today by renowned architects Langford and Moreau. In it’s almost 100 years of operation, Clovernook Country Club has hosted professionals and amateurs competing in US Open qualifiers, the LPGA Tour Buckeye Savings Invitational (1965-1968), and the annual Clovernook Open. In 2021, Clovernook Country Club hosted the Southern Ohio PGA Queen City Classic and the Greater Cincinnati Senior Stroke Play Championship.  

The 2022 Southern Ohio PGA Senior Professional Championship is a 36-hole, individual stroke play event where PGA Professionals throughout the Southern Ohio Section compete for their chance to advance to the National PGA Senior Professional Championship. Players who finish in the top-5 spots on the leaderboard after the two-day competition will secure their spot in the National Championship while the next five players will become alternates for the final event.
