Associate of the Year
If there is a common thread running through Scott Nevius’ work, it’s simple: golf should be fun.
That belief has shaped every step of his journey as a PGA Associate. Formerly the Head Golf Professional and Clubhouse Manager at Little Miami Golf Center, Scott is now at Meadow Links & Golf Academy, where his reputation for fun and world-class service followed him from Cincinnati’s east side up to the north side of town!
A true five-tool Associate, Scott does it all: managing daily operations to leading junior camps, PGA Jr. League teams, women’s clinics and PGA HOPE programming. Whether working with first-time golfers or seasoned players, his easygoing personality and genuine enthusiasm have made the game more welcoming for people all across southwest Ohio.
Nevius’ impact reaches well beyond the golf shop. He has helped shape one of the Section’s strongest junior golf programs, introduced more than 90 women to the game, recruited Veterans into PGA HOPE and even welcomed a PGA HOPE graduate onto the Little Miami staff. Along the way, he has become an active leader within the Southern Ohio PGA, serving on the Associate Committee while encouraging fellow Associates in their own professional development.
For Nevius, success isn’t measured by tournaments or titles. It’s measured by the people who leave the golf course smiling, eager to return and excited to share the game with someone else. That passion for creating lifelong golfers makes him a deserving recipient of the Southern Ohio PGA Associate of the Year Award.
