Golf Executive of the Year
At NCR Country Club, excellence doesn’t happen by accident. It’s the result of vision, collaboration, and steady leadership, all qualities that define Jeff Grant, PGA, CCM, this year’s Southern Ohio PGA Golf Executive of the Year. Grant’s career reflects both the business acumen of a seasoned executive and the heart of a golf professional devoted to people and the game.

As Chief Operating Officer at NCR Country Club, Grant oversees every aspect of the member experience. Under his leadership, NCR has evolved into one of the region’s premier clubs. Club revenue has doubled, golf membership has grown by more than 200 members and over $15 million in capital improvements have been invested without assessments. These achievements are a direct result of Grant’s ability to balance operational excellence with forward-thinking strategy. His dual certifications as a PGA Professional and a Certified Club Manager (CCM) make him uniquely suited to lead both people and performance.
Grant’s leadership philosophy is grounded in collaboration and mentorship. NCR staffers will tell you his management approach is “hands-on” but always in an empowering way, and it’s led to a culture of pride and purpose among his team. The results of that culture are outstanding–five NCR staff members have earned or advanced PGA credentials, including one earning Master Professional status.
Beyond his work at NCR, Grant has been a dedicated servant leader to the game. His impact extends across the Southern Ohio PGA Section, where he previously served as Vice President and Finance Committee Chair before being elected as the 2025 President of the Board of Governors. At the national level, he has contributed to the PGA Employment Committee, helping shape career advancement opportunities for professionals across the country.
Grant has also played a pivotal role in showcasing NCR Country Club on the national stage. Under his guidance, NCR hosted the 2022 U.S. Senior Women’s Open and is slated to host the 2027 PGA Junior Championship, events that elevate both the facility and the region. Locally, he has ensured NCR remains a community hub for golf, hosting OHSAA high school matches and state championships while supporting programs that introduce the game to young players.
