2010 Season Highlights
Concept
The Southern Ohio PGA Junior Tour offers a superior junior tour experience. Our goal is to help develop younger golfers as well as provide outstanding competitions on a local level. In addition, this program will strive to foster sportsmanship and integrity among its members.
Eligibility
The Southern Ohio PGA Junior Tour is open to all juniors who live in the State of Ohio from ages 9-18 (Note: Candidates under 9 years old are eligible, but need an endorsement letter from their PGA Professional). All juniors must also pass a USGA Rules of Golf examination prior to signing up for an event.
Description
The 2010 SOPGA Junior Tour will encompass 15 events across the southern half of Ohio. There are specific age divisions at each competition and awards will be presented to the top three finishers in each division per event. The top ten finishers at each event will earn points towards the 2010 Player of the Year points race. Top players will be recognized at year-end awards dinner held after Round #1 of the Junior Tour Championship. Divisions include Boys & Girls ages 9-11, 12-13, 14-15, & 16-18.
Cost
$95.00 (annual fee) + $50.00 (per event)*

Tournament Information
You must be a member of the 2010 SOPGA Junior Tour before signing up for an event. If not a member, click on the “Sign Up Now” link. Members must type in their Membership ID and Password in the SOPGA Junior Tour Login Box. Tournament registration opens 45 days prior to the date of the event. Please be aware Tournaments fill quickly.
