Become A Member

Follow the steps for New or Returning Membership to apply for 2010 SOPGA Junior Tour Membership. Membership registration will close on July 13, 2010 or when all tournaments have filled to capacity.

Steps for Registration – New Member

All new members must submit a 2010 waiver and proof of age. The following are the steps to apply for membership:

  • Click the “Sign Up Now” link located in the “SOPGA Junior Tour Member Login” box above.
  • Follow the steps to complete the online registration form and submit payment information. Note: Your credit card will not be charged until you are accepted into membership.
  • Junior will receive an email which includes a link to the SOPGA Junior Tour Membership Waiver Form. Print the form out, and have a Parent or Legal Guardian sign it.
  • Submit the signed SOPGA Junior Tour Membership Waiver Form and a Proof of Age (birth certificate, driver’s license, etc.) to the SOPGA through email, fax, or mail.
  • If approved for membership, junior will receive an email with their Junior Tour Membership ID and Password. This will be used to log in to their account in the Membership Login box above.
  • Juniors will be required to complete the 2010 USGA Rules of Golf exam prior to signing up for their first event. This will be administered online.

Application fee payments may be accepted by VISA, Mastercard, Check, or Money Order. Payment must be received for a junior to gain membership to the SOPGA Junior Tour. The cost for membership into the Junior Tour is $95.

Applicants who have gained membership in the SOPGA Junior Tour will receive a Welcome Pack introducing them to the tour. Memberships will be active from January 1, 2010 – December 31, 2010.

Applications for Membership, including all necessary information, must be received at least three days prior to an event deadline for a participant to be eligible to enter an event. Please confirm the status of your entry before attempting to sign up for an event.

Steps for Registration – Returning Member

Juniors who were SOPGA Junior Tour members in the previous year will not have to submit a Proof of Age. The following are the steps for reapplying for membership:

  • Use your 2009 Junior Tour Membership ID and Password to login to your account in the Membership login box above. (If you do not remember your Membership ID or password email the SOPGA Junior Tour Staff and an email will be sent)
  • Follow the steps to renew your SOPGA Junior Tour membership for 2010.
  • Submit the signed SOPGA Junior Tour Membership Waiver Form to the SOPGA through email, fax, or mail. An SOPGA staff member will review your application. Note: Your credit card will not be charged until you are accepted into membership.
  • If accepted, you will receive an email welcoming you to the 2010 SOPGA Junior Tour. Your Membership ID and Password will remain the same from previous year.
  • Before signing up for tournaments, you will be required to complete the 2010 USGA Rules of Golf exam. This can be completed by logging into your SOPGA Junior Tour account.
